With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, I am proud to lead the management team at Stifel’s Atlanta Private Client Group office, where I work directly with financial advisors, providing them with proven skills, tools, and resources to take their business to the next level. With an emphasis on practice management and integrated marketing activities, I work with my financial advisors to help ensure they are delivering a differentiated service experience to each client.
A graduate of the University of South Dakota with a B.S. in Business Administration, I began my financial services industry career with Northwestern Mutual Life in 1995. Two years later, I became a Financial Advisor with Dean Witter, which later merged with Morgan Stanley. After establishing myself as a highly respected financial advisor, I completed the firm’s Management Development program in 2000. This experience led to new and expanded opportunities that combined my leadership skills with my passion for education and coaching. Throughout my long and rewarding career, I held several management positions in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, and West Virginia.
In addition to working with my branch’s financial advisors to help them grow their practices, I am also a seasoned financial advisor. Over the years, I have earned the reputation for providing highly customized guidance and risk-adjusted strategies to financially successful individuals, families, and small business owners. Specializing in wealth management services for retirees, women, attorneys, physicians, and corporate executives, my comprehensive approach includes a thorough planning process and a commitment to outstanding service.
My passion for leading teams and helping clients pursue their goals is equaled only by my dedication to my family and my community. My wife, Tracy, and I have two children, Jared and Elise. I acted as an Assistant Scout Master and Treasurer of my son’s Boy Scout troop and enjoyed coaching my children’s soccer and basketball teams. In my leisure time, I enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling to new places.
